Terms and Conditions for Free Doula Care | Update 21 Jun 2025

 

Offered by Ni’Sheerer Colbert-Pinckney, Full Spectrum Doula

This free doula care program is offered as part of a community initiative through The Inez Foundation to support underserved birthing individuals and families in Baltimore, MD, and surrounding areas. By applying for and accepting free doula care, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

 

 

Eligibility

 

 

  • Free services are limited to individuals who meet specific eligibility criteria, such as but not limited to:

     

    • Identifying as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, low-income, teen, single parent, or experiencing other barriers to care.

    • Residing in underserved Baltimore, MD communities, or surrounding areas.

    • Currently pregnant or planning for a full-spectrum reproductive experience.

     

  • Proof of eligibility may be requested (e.g., referral from a provider, Medicaid card, WIC/SNAP participation, etc.).

 

 

 

 

Scope of Services

 

 

  • Free care includes one full-spectrum doula package per client or family per year.

  • Available services may include prenatal visits, continuous labor support, postpartum visits, or other relevant care as agreed upon.

  • Services will be clearly outlined before care begins.

 

 

 

 

Client Responsibilities

 

 

  • Clients must actively communicate and participate in scheduled appointments.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance unless in case of emergency.

  • If a client is consistently unresponsive or repeatedly misses appointments without communication, services may be discontinued.

  • All information shared must be honest and accurate to ensure safe and appropriate care.

 

 

 

 

Limitations

 

 

  • Availability is limited to two clients per year for free care.

  • Clients who receive free care are not eligible to receive additional free services in future years unless otherwise stated.

  • Services do not include medical care, diagnoses, or clinical procedures.

 

 

 

 

Confidentiality

 

 

  • All client information will be kept strictly confidential and only shared with consent or when legally required.

 

 

 

 

Photography and Testimonials

 

 

  • No photos, stories, or feedback will be shared publicly without written consent.

 

 

 

 

Submitting Application: 

  • Please submit only one application. Submitting multiple applications does not increase your chances of receiving a free spot. Submitting multiple application may result in your application being rejected.

 

 

Right to Decline or Discontinue Services

 

 

  • I, Ni’Sheerer Colbert-Pinckney and any doulas at Sevyn Clouds Doula Services and The Inez Foundation reserves the right to decline or discontinue free doula services at any time due to safety concerns, lack of communication, misrepresentation, or scheduling limitations. 

    By participating in this program, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms. This offering is based on love, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves care, regardless of income or circumstance.
