The Family Tree
Offers free, research-based parenting programs, both group-based and in-home/community settings.
Curriculum topics: child development, behavior management, communication, discipline, resilience-building .
Also provides a 24‑hour Parenting HelpLine (800‑243‑7337).
Baltimore Healthy Start
Serves all Baltimore City parents with kids aged 5 & under.
Offers free Circle of Security parenting groups and virtual breastfeeding education .
Baltimore Therapy Center
Hosts Partners in Parenting, an 8-week skills-based class focusing on communication, guidance, and positive discipline.
Flexible schedule; $120 per class or $800 for an 8-session package .
Mercy Health Services (Expectant Parent Resources)
Offers Infant care, breastfeeding, big sibling, and childbirth classes, plus mother’s support group.
Pre-registration via Eventbrite; insurance reimbursement available .
Center for Urban Families (CFUF)
Through DADMAP, supports noncustodial fathers with a men’s parenting curriculum alongside broader family support initiatives .
Additional options:
GBMC Parent Education: offers workshops on childbirth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, car‑seat installations, infant CPR, sibling prep, and more .
MedStar Health: provides a one-day “Birth & Family” class (childbirth, breastfeeding, infant CPR, baby care), plus e‑classes and live support groups .
Online classes via Maryland-approved providers: Co-parenting, high-conflict parenting, foundations, anger management, etc., ranging from $49 to $139 .
Options Baltimore (BrightCourse): Offers pregnancy, toddler, parenting, life-skills, nutrition courses via text, with baby-supplies incentives .
